Glass Pyramid Pavillion

Design villa

This Eye-catching Estate Villa is Unequaled on the Exotic Island of Bali. The architectural design presents a spectacular impression: Inverted pyramid-shaped structures with expansive, full height sliding glass walls that create an almost extraterrestrial feeling blending a creative juxtaposition of contemporary steel-frame construction with the traditional Balinese thatched roof. The concept invites nature inside in a striking setting that will leave visitors in amazement. The villa features six glass-enclosed pavilions, each rising from infinity-edged reflection pools and each with sliding glass walls that draw the luxuriant environment inside. The main building steps down the hillside in water terraces and is composed of three inverted pyramid-shaped steel structures nested together to form the living, dining, and entertainment levels each floating in overlapping reflection pools. The 5-meter long dining table will be one of a kind in the world: perched on five different levels, each position with a sweeping view over the ceremonial kitchen beyond and the paradise outside. Unseen below will be a 15-meter â??underground waterwayâ? with stepping stones that lead through an art gallery toward a sensational guest restroom that has frosted glass privacy partitions and mirrors that rise from the water to frame the open jungle below. The separate Master and Guest Bedroom Pavilions are each two-story structures and each rises from three infinity-edged reflecting pools. Out of view downstairs in each pavilion are the bath facilities, massage room, sauna, dressing room, separate shower and toilet areas, a small kitchen and a second small bedroom with bunk beds for children. Cantilevering over the hillside below is an outdoor bathtub floating in the center of yet another infinity-edged pool with views through the lush exotic jungle landscape that will provide privacy. Located only 10-minutes northwest of Ubud. The walled-in property has a 200-meter private entrance road lined on one side with a magnificent Inca-like stone-carved wall that leads to a setting well back from the main road. The site enjoys total privacy on two hectares of pristine nature: a botanical oasis with a 100-meter jungle boardwalk along the small stream below. There is no hint of civilization within the almost 360 degree view over valley and lush vegetation. The final construction is nearing the 80% completion. It will take another estimated 4 or 5 more months to complete the whole project.
